Meet Stacey J. Aswad – An Actress, Dancer & Good Hearted
Stacey J. Aswad was born in the small city of Binghamton, New York, where dance was her first passion. At the age of five she began participating in competitive artistic rollerskating and later won the national championship in the sport five different times. In order to assist with her training in the sport, Aswad joined a professional ballet company which led up to her attending New York City’s Julliard School. There, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.
Stacey J. Aswad: More Than a Movie Acterss
Upon graduation, Aswad headed out to the Midwestern United States. She both performed ballet, jazz and modern dance professionally, and taught dance to adolescents at The Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville. It was during this time that she turned her attention to acting. She booked several local commercials and voiceovers in Charlotte, North Carolina before landing some national commercials and eventually a role as Andi Ramsey on the television show 7th Street Theater.

Movie Roles & Important Positions Keep Rolli’n In
She landed a new role in 2005 hosting the television show Walt Disney‘s Top 7 Must Sees. Her appearance in this role led to another fantastic opportunity to come her way: hosting Richard Kraft’s documentary Finding Kraftland. Before the documentary even premiered in Los Angeles, she managed to land roles in the comedy Carrie Ann’s Kiss and the feature length dramatic film Me & You, Us, Forever, the latter being a role as one of the female leads. Meanwhile, the feature length documentary won several awards and appeared in more than 70 film festivals across the globe.
Aswad officially moved to Los Angeles in 2007.
Since moving there, she worked as a voice actress, host, spokesperson and actress with AVO Talent and Commercial Talent. With these talent agencies, she has done work with AT&T, Clairol, McDonald’s, Toyota, and many more popular brands. She hosted games for the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, revving up the crowd.
In 2009, Aswad began to host Must Do Disney, a Resort TV campaign show for Walt Disney World. In 2012, she produced the show VO Buzz Weekly for aspiring voice actors.
That same year, she became the In-Show Announcer for the show Family Game Night, a show that brings together families to play games and win prizes, and even won the 2012 Daytime Emmy Winner for Outstanding Game Show Host for her performance on that show.

In all of her roles, Stacey has used her experience and talent as a dancer, instructor, and actress to inspire others. Her passion for life affects others, and even extends to every manner of living creature on this planet. While energetically building her career, Aswad has rescued two cats and spoiled them immensely. She has become an advocate for animals and sells autographed photographs on her website, donating the proceeds to several animal charities and animal rescue groups.
